A unique three-way magic button allows one-step sharing and engagement in your social life. The vibrant necklace strap provides rugged yet stylish protection. A thoughtful NFC buckle offers a quick social mode switch and reveals your online status to your friends.

Essential / Laptop
The Essential notebook eliminates visual interference and keeps every feature in a compact package. The hinge, connectors and thermal venting are hidden in an aesthetic way through well considered structure and soft exterior material. All the I/O connectors become exposed by simply pushing down the side rubbers. By the integrated application of soft materials, this design provides a comfortable palm rest space and also offers the connectors protection.

Inspired by nature, the Pebble is a sleek and seamless 7” tablet that is dust and splash proof. It takes its name from its pebble-like shape and finish. It aims to deliver a delightful holding experience due to its perfect shape devoid of any interference. This is made possible by wireless charging and cloud computing. The focal point of the back side (power outlet, camera and speaker) highlights the minimal design and fulfills the required usability needs.

Rhyme / Notebook
“Reimagined connected standby” is a new value proposition for next generation ultra slim notebooks. Rhyme aspires to meet that proposition. It is a 14” ultra-slim notebook with a Mini LIVE infotainment window. The exposed Mini LIVE infotainment window serves as a music player control panel when the notebook is closed. Users can also assign favorite display information through dedicated apps. There is a rear I/O door that can be quickly flipped down to reveal the connectors. This design element solves the conflict between ultra-slim design and standard connector usability.

Magic Wheel / User Interface
Internet access is now available on nearly every device, even on TV. However, the smart TVs User Interfaces are designed similarly to smart devices. This results in complex menus and operations that deviate from the consumers’ expectations of fast and simple service. Magic Wheel takes the traditional TV browsing experience and adds internet channels all in one menu. It features a customized tablets app with a user interface and a wheel-arranged remote control. The user simply rotates the left wheel to switch between services, and rotates the right wheel to browse content. The TV responds in real-time to display the corresponding imagery.

Polaris is a very simple solution, it eliminates the traditional complex hook and latch locking design, allowing users to just “twist and lift” to detach the tablet and change to various modes, such as viewing mode, tablet mode and typing mode effortlessly. DualFlip is a laptop PC equipped with a top loading optical disk player, but still as slim as laptops without an optical drive. The keyboard is reinforced and designed as a top protection hood to be flipped up to access the optical drive. Meanwhile, the optical drive player can be replaced by other module units such as an extra battery or HDD, according to the user’s needs. The top loading behavior is similar to the experience of opening an engine hood, not only intuitive to use, but also helpful in reducing device thickness.

Mini POS / RiPac-10P1
The RiPac-10P1 is the first POS that combined two displays: a full flat 10.1” PCT main display and an adjustable 5” customer display. There is also a built-in auto cut thermal printer, whose paper roll can be loaded in three seconds. This saves money and time, as users do not need to send back the entire POS to the manufacturer for technical support. It’s also the first streamlined design with the I / O placed at the bottom of the triangle space, which means the security of the connectors and cables can be easily managed. Despite its integrated dual displays, printer and NFC, it is still the smallest POS for retail, ticketing and limited spaces.

SHENNONA HEAR
While many hearing aids help seniors deal with hearing loss, their small size makes touch controls difficult for them to use. Moreover, the companion apps and icons are often too abstract to understand. SHENNONA HEAR is a hearing aid that simplifies device-to-app relations through physical mapping. Besides touch controls on the device, the app displays an exact image of the hearing aids in a line-art graphic so that seniors with tactile difficulty can easily understand and adjust settings right on their phones. The controls are clear and intuitive, such as moving the volume bar UP to increase sound. UI mapping provides guidance throughout to give the user more confidence in operating both the app and hearing aids.

Gluco-Ball
While continuous glucose monitors (CGM) succeed in minimizing hassle with up to 14 days of continuous monitoring compared to traditional fingerpricking, its applicator is still a chore to set up and can easily misfire. Gluco-Ball is the most convenient CGM to date with zero assembly in one easy to grip, unibody design. It features a foolproof lock that prevents all unintentional misfires, allowing the user to simply twist the device counter-clockwise to unlock mechanism to release a prick at the desired location. While readability and optics have influenced the average size of smart phones in the past decade from 3.5” to 6.2”, our hands haven’t gotten any bigger since then. It features a 10-inch display that can be rolled out as little or as much as necessary and then clicked into place. When unused, the phone can be stored in a small tube that fits perfectly in a shirt pocket or bag. Usability and portability are key features, and the smaller size means less packaging is used.

pixsee is an IoT baby camera that in addition to monitoring your child’s safety, automatically recognizes, captures and documents meaningful moments including smiles, gestures and other interactions as if you were in the room to capture them. The pixsee website focuses on memory throughout, with heartwarming childlike doodles and hand-written copy that reads like a storybook to engage viewers at an emotional level. Meanwhile, high-tech specifications of the device can be read by scrolling vertically. The website communicates a sense of sweet nostalgia and hopes to draw in pixsee users with informative articles and blog posts on parenting.

Only when the keyboard flap is pulled down for productivity, the interlocked hinge will simultaneously raise the micro-bezel display up by 30mm while revealing a forward-facing, wide row of acoustic speakers below for immaculate sound. BreezePro
It’s clear that cooling systems directly impact a laptop’s performance, but vents are often placed on the bottom of laptops which block and trap hot air when placed on any surface, causing the device to overheat. BreezePro cleverly redesigns the thermal system so that when the lid is lifted, its keyboard not only lifts at a gentle slope for ergonomic typing, two elegant hollows are created on either side so cool air is drawn to expel hot air in the back, away from the user. This frees the bottom of the laptop from any vent holes, so the user can set the laptop down on any flat surface.

Virtual Cam
Smart cameras are crucial for tracking and zooming in on speakers during online meetings, yet invariably the speaker appears to be looking elsewhere but into the eyes of the other participants. Virtual Cam uses a smart “Under Panel Camera” to solve this unintentional gaze problem. It uses AI to recalibrate the images captured so the host can always meet eye-to-eye with viewers during real-time streaming. It comes as two halves to a large sphere, where each end contains a camera that can be pulled apart to attach to any in-room display or TV. When positioned correctly, the cameras triangulate the speaker so as to zoom in and out while improving eye contact.
